помогите разобраться...решил всю систему обновить а вот застрял на пакете vlc.

Скорее всего требуется пересобрать ffmpeg с флагом imlib.

Спасибо за помощь...но теперь более странная ошибка выходит....помогите разобраться изочего?

А раз уж пересобирается вся система - это не последняя затыка. Без revdep-rebuild из пакета gentoolkit не обойтись :)
